How I made this project

Working drawing: We used moisture-resistant MDF of 18mm thick for the TV cabinet . The total width of the furniture is 240cm, height 33cm and depth 36cm. With this as a starting point, we first calculated the dimensions of the individual parts: top (miter sawn), sides (miter sawn), bottom sheet, back (optional), door fronts 4x (take into account small space between the doors) and mounting slat. Very convenient that it can then be put together as a kind of construction kit! Assembly: The individual parts are pre-drilled with a 4 mm drill and countersunk for a sleek end result. The top and sides are both drilled and secured with glue (miter clamps). The furniture is hung on a mounting slat on the wall (the top falls on this and is secured in the inner upper corners of the cupboard with an angle profile). The doors are mounted with soft-close 'concealed hinges', as they are used on kitchen cabinets. A 6cm passage hole has been drilled in the top and bottom sheet in 1 of the compartments for the cables, finished with a cable cap. Finishing: degreasing & fabrics, filling (MDF filler) of drill holes, 2x priming and 2x varnishing and sanding in between with sandpaper with 240 grit.
