A light blue painted TOSIZE Furniture cupboard, by Marije

In this DIY project, Marije shares her experience with designing, assembling and painting a custom TOSIZE Furniture shelving unit. Because she chose MDF, she was able to paint a custom cabinet in a beautiful light blue color. Which fits perfectly with the rest of her interior.

On Instagram I came across the custom furniture page from TOSIZE Furniture. I immediately fell in love with the concept. A cupboard entirely according to your own wishes: size, layout and color.

How I made this project

You can design your own cupboard via the website. We first went to the showroom to take a look, then we designed a cupboard together with Yvonne. The parts of the cabinet were delivered neatly and well packaged. The manual had numbers that were also on the parts, which made it easy to assemble the cabinet. First we cleaned the cabinet, sealed the seams and then primed it and then painted it twice. We then mounted the doors and shelves.
