A TOSIZE Furniture custom wall cabinet made of MDF, by Alexandra

How fun is it to design an affordable custom cabinet yourself? Alexandra had that idea too! In this DIY project she shows how she designed, assembled and finished her custom MDF cabinet herself. The result is a beautiful eye-catcher.

Self-designed (black painted) wall cupboard, exactly as we envisioned it! Both closed and open compartments and exactly to size. Very happy with it!

How I made this project

After we couldn't find what we had in mind in any store, we ended up at this handy webshop. How cool; can design your own cupboard (for an affordable price) and have it delivered. After carefully designing, ordering and having it delivered, we assembled the cabinet in 1.5 hours and then painted it black. We are completely happy with the result and receive only positive reactions. We are going to have a lot of fun with this!
