A beautiful custom wardrobe, designed and installed entirely by yourself. Made using custom sawn spruce and oak panels. A beautiful addition to Rob's hall.
Description of Rob
A cupboard for coats and shoes in a niche in the hall. Above it there are shelves for storing things. Both cabinets behind 26 mm thick oak doors. Underneath plinth drawers for gloves, hats, slippers and the like.
How I made this project
In the niche I made a shell from 28 mm thick pine planks. These were screwed together after which the whole was placed in the niche. The shell was secured to the sides of the alcove. The hull was then provided with a clear coat (3 layers), which was sanded in between. The doors were then measured and ordered. After arrival, these doors were also provided with 3 layers of clear lacquer and hung on the white edge of the cabinet with black hinges, black door handles and magnetic closures. The whole is in accordance with the stairs in the hall (see photo 5).
