Budget idea: make kitchen cabinets from underlayment yourself

Description

We replaced the old kitchen fronts with beautiful underlayment kitchen fronts.
In short, a completely new DIY kitchen within a day and for little money.

24We used the old fronts as molds, so we measured them carefully first and passed on the measurements to OPMAATZAGEN.nl. When these arrived, everything was first coated with matte parquet varnish, three layers per side. Then dismantled each front one by one and drilled the holes in the old front. This way we could place the old front on the new one and thus precisely determine the location of the hinges and drawer plugs.

Then we placed the new front and adjusted it and our new kitchen was a fact. We bought a special edge for the hinge holes and our drawers are attached with special plugs available online. Installed new handles and now enjoy a completely new kitchen for little money.

Final size: What are the outside dimensions?

Our kitchen is approximately 5 meters long in its longest length. That is on the chimney side and approximately 80.0 cm deep.
