Custom-made box for dog made of concrete plywood for tricycle, by Ellis

Ellis has made a custom-made sturdy litter box for her dog. This way the dog can travel safely. She used concrete plywood to carry out this project. A beautiful and practical result!

Description of Ellis

Concrete plywood box with flap hinge so that the dog can easily get in and out. Front plate slanted to ensure that my heels do not hit the box while cycling. The current wire basket was not sturdy and therefore unsafe. Now the dog can safely travel on the back of the tricycle.

How I made this project

The wire basket used for dimensions. First tested the height of the container with cardboard. Everything measured and ordered. 2 extra planks for strength. Bottom 12mm sides and flap 9mm. The holes were measured, the planks were lightly sanded and varnished. Container assembled with nuts, bolts and washers. Then I came to the conclusion that the reinforcement was not necessary. But then I used it for the hinge attachment of the lid. Box mounted on the bicycle. My partner has tightened all the bolts properly and it's done.
