For my mother's new apartment I made a do-it-yourself coat rack and a hanging side table from solid oak .

 

DIY side table (hanging)

The hanging brackets are placed first. After this, the dimensions of the oak wood (26mm thick) were measured and the dimensions were specified and ordered online. They arrived neatly and securely packaged. That was important because the edges had to be very smooth and damage was immediately visible. After oiling the wood I attached them to the hanging brackets. The result, a super beautiful DIY side table made of oak, see the photos!

There was little space in the hall, but now she has a coat rack and a side table that match nicely. The coat rack is made of oak round wood which is attached to a stainless steel deck railing base which is normally used on boats to attach the railing.
