This project combines function and style by making optimal use of the IKEA Platsa and a smart use of customization. The result? An elegant storage space that fits seamlessly into a slanted roof.

The structure of the project

The cabinet is constructed using modular IKEA Platsa units, fitting perfectly under the sloping wall. The panels are painted in a warm deep red colour, which gives the cabinet a modern look. The structure offers both closed compartments for clothes and open shelves with wire baskets for easily accessible items.

Place in the house and functionality

This cabinet is an asset to the bedroom, especially in rooms with sloping ceilings where standard cabinets do not fit. By strategically placing the cabinet under the sloping wall, every square centimetre is optimally used. The combination of closed and open storage spaces ensures a tidy and streamlined whole.
