Two small oak coffee tables

I transformed a set of two existing tables with a cherry veneer color into two modern tables with robust oak tops and black lacquered legs.

How did you proceed? ?

I started by sanding the two existing tables and then painted them black (with the exception of the top) and then varnished them a second time. I first sanded the two tops thoroughly and then stained them in the color walnut. Lightly sanded and then stained again. I then coated the wooden plates with mounting kit and attached them to the tables with a number of glue clamps. Finally, secured with wood thread bolts and screws via the bottom.

Each table is 70.0 cm by 70.0 cm.
